Prevent followers from seeing your location
I’ve had some relationships ruined because they saw my location change after I had taken them on 1-2 dates. It was so early in the dating that I was still reviewing my options but was beginning to establish a deep connection with said individual. Is there a way to prevent your matches from seeing your location update?

GlenYou need differentiate where a person less work from where a person happens to be at the moment this is an issue

AthanasiaEither you’re not giving the full story, or You dodged a bullet. If someone can’t tolerate you being bolted down to your house, they have issues. Who assumes you’re exclusive after 1-2 dates (unless you made it seem like you were only interested in them) but Why can’t you go shopping? Why can’t you visit friends, or go to family events? You have your own private life. If they can’t tolerate that, then they’re controlling. It’s not the app. It’s those people exclusively. The app just helped you dodge them, if you aren’t leaving any details out.

KelsiThe profile should display “Lives In” with wherever they live as well as their current location. Or, even better, show the “Lives In” location as the main one at the top of the profile. That way, we can tell if they actually are 25 minutes away as opposed to only there for visiting friends/family or shopping or whatever.

JRI think it would be better to put in your location so it can be more generic. I live in a small town. We should avoid opportunities for stalking. It’s more of a safety concern.

TobyNeed to know to the difference between where they live and where they currently are. Personally a person's current location is irrelevant info. Also

JoI agree with this feedback, let's get rid of the current location and just have a static location that you set. If someone is watching my profile, they can see if I have opened the app, because my location might change. I have never been comfortable with that idea.

JoWhat the…! I’m new to this whole dating online app & this gave me the creeps. What ever happened to my privacy rights!? Do I have a way to turn this feature off? I hope this isn’t a stalking app. We need to have safe healthy boundaries to help make users of Mutual. Not sure I feel safe to use this App now, wouldn’t you agree broski!
