This is a super simple change and the current count doesn’t come close to filling the space available on the screen. -

SassafrassWould y’all actually read longer bios? I already don’t look past the first couple of lines (but maybe I’m just lazy 😅).

MaryAgreed. So few words makes getting to know someone based on looks. Superficial app in that regard.

KatieHonestly I feel like there’s plenty space as is. It isn’t supposed to be a novel, just a brief introduction. The bios that I see that use most of the space already available are usually super cringe and overbearing. It’s probably doing some people a favor by not letting them write any more.

LauraI would read longer bio’s and I would write a longer one too. Those who don’t write one (or keep it short) it says something about them. Those who take the time to write a longer one, allows the viewer to know more about them.

FrancescaYES YES YES!!!
I feel like a bio shows some level of commitment and a tiny glimpse into the person's world. I don't swipe up on blank ones coz whats the point really? Online dating can be overwhelming and we're all trying to be a little vulnerable already so let us all be nice and give each other conversation starters 😅 -

Belén Roberts MergedFind it really annoying that we’re only allowed to write one sentence. What can really be said in one sentence? Everything I’d like to say exceeds the limit, even by one or two characters.
There should be a 1,000 character count. Let people write however much or however little they want to, but at least we’d have the option. If you don’t want to read a long bio, then move on. I personally like to hear what others have to say. -

Jordan MergedThere’s not enough room bio in the profile now that there’s limits. I don’t think there should be a short limit.

AndyI haven't updated my bio because the character count *use* to be higher. If I were to change it now, my bio would have to be *half* the characters it is now. Please increase the character count!

LisaWhen I am trying to figure out whether I want to date someone I would really like to read a little bit more about them. Allowing someone to use their own words really is most helpful in determining whether I would be interested in getting to know them more.

mark osbornI wish on photos we could zoom in on whatever part needs greater attention. Also, it'd be nice when u X someone to say you are not interested, that a window pops up asking " did u mean to ditch that
person?"
Too many times I've mistakenly Xed a woman out I didn't mean to. Shes then gone for good. Ugh! -

AndreaI would like the freedom to write what I want as an option instead of being offered only short answers to pre made prompts. The limited amount of characters is super frustrating as well.
Some people say they don’t read them but other apps that allow this bring a lot more interest to my feed. -

Kurt HansenToo few characters anywhere.
Since words are only 7% of communication, limits are severe handicaps in your purpose, and therefore your forum. -

JaybeeThere is entirely not enough letters available to get a short message across. It is frustrating to be midsentence, and suddenly get cut off. Heck, there is like 10x more space to write this comment right now, than given for bios.
