neighboring countries Filter
Add the filter for “ neighboring countries”. For all us that don’t live in the US this feauture would really help and do expand ones search area that’s still somewhat close to you, with out going to “world wide” search.

Marc MergedHave a search/range setting countries or continents instead of a diameter. People who live outside of America have different circumstances and don't want to go from a range of a few hundred kilometers to world wide. It be bether to have a search distance within Europe.

Anonymous MergedThe distance filters seem optimised for the US, where "anywhere in the country" is farther than 500 miles. In Europe, "anywhere in the country" is often smaller. I'd suggest either:
1) make the highest miles-based filter go even higher -- up to 1k miles; or,
2) make it possible to filter to anywhere kn he same continent.
As it is, the options are either a very small pool in my local area (bc Europe), or the entire world. Continent-level is much more reasonable for Europe. -

Jana MergedMake it easier for members from Europe to match with other Europeans by making it possible to filter by continent.
Travel within Europe is easy and cheap, and makes more sense for most of us than traveling to a different continent to meet up with a match.
This goes for all other continents as well, but to make it personal to me I chose to specifically mention Europe. -

LauraAgreed. I’ll be moving to Costa Rica and it would be helpful if I could search another country without paying for it.

BenjaminIt might be nice to toggle on and off specific countries (i.e. I would like to see people from all over the world, but not from this specific country, or I would rather only see people from these specific countries).

StevoThis one seems like a no-brainer. Why on earth wouldn't there be a filter for this? Not having this filter makes it appear like there's more people on this app than there really are. Its misleading

PrestonAlso add a spot to draw on the map to filter specific locations (kinda like Zillow map feature)

KalliYes yes yes. My country is small, and I’m ok extending to countries that go beyond the long distance limit, but world wide is too much. Same continent setting?

JDI’d say allow people to set their match criteria by a few different standards. I like the radius, but what if we could set specific cities, states and countries. So for instance you can have a cumulative match location where I can switch from radius search to by specific city, state or country and you can add however many locations you want to it. For instance I can search Provo, Orem, Vineyard, Pleasant Grove and Lehi or I can search by State, all of Utah or all of Arizona, or by country. That way you can go outside of your country without getting a bunch of people from a country or state, you wouldn’t want to potentially move to.

BrandiAllow a filter to block people from other countries from swiping up. it takes too long to read through all of them when I’m not interested in dating out of the country.

AlanIf I am only interested in people being liked by people located in my country, it would be great to have it only show my profile to those currently located in my country instead of my profile being shown to people around the world. I am not prejudice but immigration issues for a future spouse cause issues for me.

KDI'm all for either "neighboring countries" or even "continent" as an option. I'm a couple hours from the Canadian boarder. The only way I can get Canadian matches is to open it to the whole world. Let's be reasonable, Canada is a real possibility, the rest of the world, not so much.

BecIt would be nice to be able to search by country, or at the very least by continent. I think there should either be a filter for countries, or to have an option of “continent” before moving to “whole world”.
Being in Canada, I’d like to be able to search for people in the US without having to open it to “whole world”
