  Could also add an option for if they want children. Like the interest levels. Options like already have kids, ready for kids, traveler now but someday, or having fun without kids. For someone with kids it's important to know whether a potential match is ready for kids.

  Honestly I can see it both ways filter for those who have children filter for those who want children or even just like a Mutual tag you can probably just add this as a tag

  This is important especially when dealing with women who already have children. Their profile may say “love kids”, but that doesn’t mean they want more of them. It would be very nice to be able to filter results based on that since it is a VERY common dealbreaker both ways.

  Maybe have something that helps match those that maybe are done having kids, “have kids want more, have kids will accept yours and have more, have kids done having more will accept yours, no kid will accept yours, no kids but want” kind of thing

  Agree this needs to be in there. Seems to me the app developers are too focused on the 20-something single Provo dating scene and don’t realize all the different situations that single LDS people are in.

  Some of us don't want to date single parents and have no interest in being stepparents for a variety of reasons. Have a checkmark for people to verify whether or not they have children and then have filter in place so people don't have to see single parents if they don't want to.

  Last I was on Bumble they had a little baby icon where one of the following statuses/preferences could be listed:
  
  -don’t have kids, want kids
  -have kids, want more
  -have kids, don’t want more
  -don’t have, don’t want
  
  Could also make a customizable response
  “Have 3 kids, want 1 more.” Or “have kids and open either way”

  Please please please consider adding next update a section on whether or not people have kids. This is so important, especially if you’re getting older (not in your 20s anymore) it’s very disappointing to match with someone and then find out quite awkwardly that they have five kids when you have none. Just good to know if someone has kids already, that’s a big one. I’m surprised it’s not already on there. Bumble has it in their app.

  I agree with a lot that has already been said about filtering for potential matches with or without kids and who wants versus doesn't want kids/more kids. I think this should be built into the bios of asking each user on Mutual if he or she has kids, if he or she does then is he/she open to more or not. Conversely, if he/she doesn't have kids, whether he/she does or doesn't want kids. Then I think it needs to also be built into the preferences for users to also filter other potential Mutual users based upon the personal desire of dating with or without kids and/or someone who wants/doesn't want kids. Personally, I'm getting sick of swiping through a majority of single parents and some attempting to guilt trip me that I don't have nor want kids. This really needs to be built into the preferences to make the dating experience more comfortable, safe, and easier for all users on Mutual.
